Today, the amount of data that is generated, by both humans and machines, far outpaces humans' ability to absorb, interpret, and make complex decisions based on that data. Artificial intelligence forms the basis for all computer learning and is the future of all complex decision making.
Machine Learning provides systems the ability to automatically learn and improve from experience without being explicitly programmed.
Artificial Intelligence or AI gives robots a computer vision to navigate, sense and calculate their reaction accordingly. Robots learn to perform their tasks from humans through machine learning which again is a part of computer programming and AI
Mission Statement
The mission of the Open AI Research Organisation is to conduct open research on technology under the umbrella of Artificial Intelligence, including creating solutions, algorithms to resolve or present social and environmental problems. To define best practices and spread the awareness of Artificial Intelligence field; to provide a mechanism whereby existing Artificial Intelligence research capabilities can be matched with funding sources; to contribute to learning resources in research projects through assistantships and other work arrangements; and to provide a vehicle for unique social research and public service programs that do not fit more traditional academic structures. The organisation also recognizes as part of its mission the importance of combining expertise and capacities of multiple institutions, disciplines and professions in addressing complex problems. The organisation seeks to develop perspectives and approaches that lead to effective cooperative investigations.
